Mary is currently CEO of Foodstuffs South Island, a role she has held since 2021, and is stepping down at the end of 2026. Her executive career spans retail leadership across many well known brands, including managing director roles of Hallenstein Glassons and J Ballantyne & Co; and CEO of Ezibuy. Mary is Director of Christchurch NZ and a previous board member of Meridian Energy, Briscoes, Christchurch City Holdings and IAG New Zealand. She was made an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit (ONZM) in 2013 for services to business.
